Our Mission is to be the inspiration for sustainable change, by protecting and promoting the Rights of Children and thereby discovering and connecting our internal potentials and external resources, hence empowering others and ourselves to reach higher quality of life through shared values of honesty, fairness, integrity, social responsibility and transparency.
Dhruv – a child rights initiative promoted by Disha, believes that each child should have the right to live, develop, participate and be protected against exploitation.
Founded in 2008, Dhruv provides leadership to all the Child Rights initiatives of Disha in Gujarat and adopts several strategies to promote and ensure child rights with particular emphasis on universalization of education and health. So far Dhruv has touched and positively impacted the lives of 59917 children.
